Built from raw materials, found objects, custom fabrication, and layers collected over time, the restaurant balances utility with character. Nothing feels overly polished or prescribed. Every element has a purpose, a history, or a hand behind it.
THE CONCEPT
A counter-service restaurant by day and private event space by night, The Russell was designed with flexibility at its core, allowing the space to shift naturally from casual lunch service to intimate dinners and celebrations.
BUILT BY HAND
From demolition and fabrication to fire, furniture and the final layer of objects, the restaurant was shaped by hand, one element at a time.
At the center is a custom handmade grill, designed and built specifically for The Russell, connecting the culinary concept to the space itself.
MENU CURATION
The menu at The Russell is built around fire, where smoke, flame and time shape each dish. Ingredients are thoughtfully sourced and simply prepared, allowing the character of the food and the wood-fired cooking to lead.
BEYOND THE RESTAURANT
The Russell’s established catering and boxed lunch program creates revenue beyond the dining room, with a streamlined model built for corporate orders, events and repeat business.
