Familiar, Reimagined
Le Champion took shape in a space already known and loved in Kansas City. Rather than erase what came before, the goal was to preserve its familiar character while giving it an entirely new point of view.
Existing elements were layered with new materials, lighting, furniture and collected objects. The space was also reimagined to shift throughout the day, COFFEE BY DAY, COCKTAILS AT NIGHT.

Branding
Creatives are the New Athletes
The sporting references throughout Le Champion reflect a larger idea: creativity requires the same discipline, obsession and pursuit of excellence traditionally celebrated in sport.
Vintage athletic imagery and collected objects carry that idea throughout the space, quietly rather than literally.
